The Pardo 38 is built for a single, well-run day on the water rather than a floating hotel. At 11.56 metres, she carries up to 12 guests on an open, uncluttered layout that keeps the cockpit and bow area free for lounging, sunbathing and moving around without squeezing past furniture. Below deck there is one cabin, useful for stowing bags, changing, or a midday rest out of the sun, but the design logic of this boat is clearly outdoor-first: wide gunwales, a walk-around deck and a swim platform that make getting in and out of the water straightforward.

From a Mallorca base, the Pardo 38 suits shorter, well-defined routes rather than long-range passages. A departure from Palma for a few hours west toward Illetes or east toward Portopetro works well with a group this size, with enough deck space to spread out for lunch on anchor before heading back in for a sunset return. The same layout adapts easily to a half-day run along the east coast, calling at a cala or two for swimming stops where the boat's shallow-friendly manoeuvring and swim platform earn their keep.
